Interesting sign at the end of the Central line:

Apparently, it’s a genuine bunker which could have been used in event of a nuclear war, though “it’s now a museum and you could even hire it for functions.” It was designed to hold 600 people, who would, presumably, be about the only ones to survive. I wonder how you gained entry to that club and whether, after all, it would be worth it.

    Well there’s not much else to get excited about in Chipping Ongar, is there? If I can choose the other 599, I’m in, otherwise forget it.
